Your library's movies,
all on one shelf.
Browse every DVD and Blu-ray at your public library with ratings, trailers and what's on the shelf right now. It's free, and so is borrowing them.
That library isn't supported yet. Nomad Library works with libraries whose catalog runs on BiblioCommons. Yours probably uses different software. Here's how to get free movies from it anyway:
- Search its catalog for "DVD" or "Blu-ray" and sort by newest.
- Check its digital apps. Kanopy and Hoopla stream movies free with a library card, and Libby has some too.
- Ask about interlibrary loan. Most libraries can borrow a movie from another library for you.
Want to see how it works?
Type your library's website (like spl.org) and press Open, or paste the link from its online catalog. If that catalog's address has bibliocommons.com in it, Nomad Library can open it.
Bring your watchlist
Export your watchlist from IMDb or Letterboxd, drop the file here, and see which of those movies your library has.
How do I export it?
IMDb: open your Watchlist, tap the three dots, then Export. The file arrives in your Exports page.
Letterboxd: Settings, then Data, then Export your data. Unzip it and use watchlist.csv.
